Retail - Store Manager

Linen Chest is a fast growing company, and we are currently looking for enthusiastic and innovative individuals that have the drive to succeed. There's always something great happening at Linen Chest, & we now have an opportunity available in our Moncton store.

Your responsibilities:
-The main responsibility is to manage, lead & supervise all store employees to ensure a professional and courteous environment in order to achieve customer satisfaction at all times and to maximize the store potential.
-To achieve sales objectives.
-To offer a stimulating, pleasant & professional environment to the employees.
-To respect merchandising rules while using your creativity to highlight products in order to increase sales.
-To coach employees on a daily basis & to implement training & development strategies with your team.
-To be on the lookout for new trends & changes in the industry.
-To set up development plans with your department managers.
-To plan & organize successful in-store events.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in management.
-Solid knowledge of sales techniques.
-Excellent leadership & organizational skills.
-Dynamic, organization skills and very good communicator.
-Excellent people skills.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Able to provide excellent customer service.
-Able to work in a team environment.
-Able to learn the product knowledge.
-Flexibility to work weekends & mall hours
-Bilingual

    Required Qualifications:
    • 2-3 years of sales management experience, leading a team of 20+ associates
    • Minimum high school education or equivalent. Degree in Business or related field is preferred.
    • Good computer skills would be helpful

    Management experience in a clothing retail establishment is considered an asset

    DESCRIPTION
    • Drive store sales results by ensuring a consistent quality customer experience in the store
    • Build a customer focused and sales intense team
    • Recruit, interview, hire, develop and train store teams to deliver the required performance objectives
    • Plan, support, and execute company direction and initiatives
    • Set clear performance expectations and give appropriate recognition for performance
    • Plan and control store payroll budget to meet or exceed expectations
    • Direct the shipping, receiving, and inventory flow

    REQUIREMENTS
    • 2-3 years management experience; retail specialty apparel preferred.
    • H.S. graduate or equivalent.
    • Proven track record of training, motivating and coaching a sales team
    • A high energy, high impact sales floor leader
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
